Citizens Advice Rushmoor is a local charity offering free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information services about benefits, debt, money, housing, employment, family and more. They aim to give people the advice they need to move forward and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives. An adviser is present most weeks at the Community Grub Hub for walk-in appointments.
Fareshare redistribute surplus food from more than 40 food companies to charities that turn it into meals or share it with their local communities. They are one of our major food suppliers.
The Lions organisation is run by volunteers who raise money for community projects and humanitarian needs. They work closely with us to help Rushmoor residents in need.
toob is a local full-fibre broadband provider that delivers a fast and reliable connection at an affordable price. toob provides CGH with a complimentary ultrafast service to keep the local community connected and support the valuable hard work the hub carries out.
The broadband provider offers 900 Mbps or 150 Mbps on an 18 month contract and when you sign up using toob’s refer a friend scheme, you’ll both receive a £25 giftcard! The 'toob essentials' social tariff is also available for those receiving certain government benefits.
Neater Heat service our gas boiler every year for free! Based in Aldershot, they install and maintain gas boilers, heat pumps and solar panel systems.
HDS service our warehouse roller shutter doors every year for free! They are a local family run company who install, maintain, and repair all types of doors on industrial and commercial premises.
Rushmoor Borough Council were instrumental in helping to setup the Community Grub Hub and in sourcing our current site. They continue to provide invaluable support, advice and links to other support groups in the Rushmoor area.
